BROWNIE WITH BEANS

Ingredients

200 gr. – Beans, Navy bean type, boiled

1 – Egg

100 gr. – Flour

100 gr. – Sugar

200 gr. – Greek Yogurt

50 gr. – Butter, at room temperature

30 gr. – Chocolate, powder

1 Tsp. – Vanilla essence

40 gr. – Chocolate chips

50 gr. – Walnuts, in pieces

 

Preparation 

Pre-heat oven at 170ºC.  Butter a 20×20 cm. square baking pan.  Cover the bottom with parchment paper.

Purée the beans with the greek yourt and the egg.  Set aside.

Sift flour and powder chocolate.

Beat sugar and butter until fluffy,  add the beans mixture and vanilla essence.  Fold the flour mixture into the batter until wel incorporated.  Add the walnuts and chocolate chips.

Pour the batter in the prepared baking pan.  Bake for about 25 minutes. The brownie should be wet.  Remove from the oven, let it cool on a wire rack.  Cut the brownies with a sharp knife.
